I am new to gaming on Linux, but so far I am liking it, where can I find the save file location for Hollow knight on Linux Mint operating system? thanks in advance.

A bit late, but, who knows, it may help someone in distant future ;)

Saves are in your user home directory:
/.config/unity3d/Team Cherry/Hollow Knight

Ctrl+H to display hidden files/folders in Caja.
