Hi. I tried to install the game (linux installer), and launched it.
I can have access at the main menu, I can click to "New Game", but when I try to start a new game:

- 1) Intro scenes will be played regulary
- 2) At the end of the intro scenes, the screen remains black and the game is completely frozen. No chance to go back, or to play the game. The only thing I can do is to disconnect the power to turn off my PC

OS: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS - 64 bit
RAM: 4 GB

Note: I will try to play the windows version of the game through wine and see if it works. But I would like to play the native build, if possible.

It can appear stupid, but every time I use support, I have difficulties to remember the route to open a ticket :P

Thank very much for your help, I appreciated it. I still not know if your suggestions will make the game work in my specific case, but at least I know what it is happening.

About upgrade: I am planning to upgrade my system in the end of this month (if I will be able to make all the backup in time). My plan is not to simply upgrade my distro, but to completely re-install it from scratch (so backup is mandatory) becouse I'd like to change my HD partition (currently I am still using the partition decided by my laptop manufacturer) to have a more efficient one (possibly using LVM, if I will be able to learn in time all I need to know).

In the meantime, only because I am curious, I will try to run the windows version under wine and see what will happen (I don't think that it will change anything, but I like to give it a try)

EDIT: It is a bit funny, but windows version + wine 2.13 staging (blank wineprefix WITHOUT any usage of winetricks) works. So, until I can't upgrade my distro, this solution works fine (I have to configure joypad still, but it is a good news :) )

More in detail, it works IF I use the "emulate virtual desktop". So probably, in my situation, part of the problem could be how fullscreen is managed in my current configuration.
