Hi.

Neither my savegames or my launcher options are saved. Each time I start the game it starts from the beginning. No continue option at all + the launcher always starts with default options. Anyone else had t he same issue? I have tried re-installing and checked savegame folder permissions but it all looks ok.

After a lot of digging I found the culprit. Bitdefender was blocking Hob from saving. This not the first time bitdefender causes issue but it was the last. Bitdefender uninstalled.

In just about every case we've seen where people have been unable to save, it was always Bitdefender. There's apparently a feature called "WriteProtection" which if enabled causes some trouble for folks as our save location is within the Documents folder.

Good idea. Obviously you CAN be too safe :D
