So I got these games in a bundle a year back and decided to naturally start with the first one. And while I have tried following the steps provided on the sticky in the forums, I cannot get the game to work properly. The window does not scale to the resolution I put it in notepad, And I just get the game in a tiny box. Is there something I am doing wrong, or is there an easier to read step by step guide?

Hard to say, since you haven't explained clearly what you exactly did.
You are supposed to edit the file hitman.ini, located in the game's folder, setting the desired resolution and adding "window" and "StartUpperPos 0,0" (both without quotation marks) to the end of the file.
