Basically - can I buy it used run it without a problem? paying $20.00 for this is new is a ripoff. Especially when I bought the whole series plus Absolution for $30.00.

Should not be a problem. I can't remember fighting any problematic DRM when playing it. Although it could be, that the DRM does not work with Win7 on 64bit, so you might have to crack it anyway.

Apparently it uses Securom 5.

A quick search says it doesn't need a CD-key, but not 100% sure. I can't remember it having one either.

Edit: I can find at least as many sites that claim there is a cd-key. I'm confused.

I just bought all of the hitman games on disc with the Hitman collection. It was cheaper to buy all of the games new, than to buy Contracts used. -_-

Did it have DRM or a CD key? What version did you get? Answers man! I'm really wanting to play through Contracts again. I just beat SA for the first time and I'm finishing up Blood Money again. I'm also slowly making my way through Codename 47.
