I'm using Wine to play the game, and my keyboard is French AZERTY, so even after adding the "enableconsole 1" line to the hitman.ini file, I cannot open the console with "~". In this keyboard, "~" is typed using AltGr+2, but either because of Wine or because of something else, it does nothing. Typing the key where "~" should be (which has a superscript "2" in the French keyboard) also does nothing.

I found out that by resetting the keyboard to QWERTY (e.g. via "setxkbmap us"), it works, but then my keys are all mapped differently, which is annoying for typing cheats. I wonder if someone found a better solution...

P.S.: I looked into the threads for swedish/english keyboards, but the solutions there didn't work.
