I have been trying to get it working for one hour now and have run out of ideas. As soon as I launch the game, I get a black screen (the game freezes) and the only way to exit the game is by killing its task.
So far I have tried:
- Changing render mode (Direct3D, OpenGL and the 3dfx one)
- Setting different resolutions
- Launching the game (hitman.exe) in compatibility mode (XP SP2, XP SP3, 2000 and 98/ Me)
- The /nogui parameter (Game would not launch but instead throw an error message: No render selected. Please select one)
Windows 7 64-Bit
Nvidia Geforce 590 GTX
i7 2600k
16GB DDR3 1333MHz
Silent Assassin launches without causing any trouble.
So I have been trying to get this to work for one almost two hours. Found out that it just takes about two minutes to load (and also seems to have gotten completely frozen which is not the case).
So don't be me and just be patient... ._.
