This is referring to H&D: Action Pack.

I can't seem to controllably change the key bindings in the game.

By this, I mean when I go into OPTIONS, and try to change CONTROLS, the program won't accept my keyboard inputs for changes to the key bindings - it only accepts the mouse inputs for control changes. For example, if I try to change the key binding for going forward to "W" (as in a standard FPS configuration), the game won't accept it - but if press mouse button 0, it accepts it.

Anyway, I also can't seem to change the key bindings back to the default setting so after my having fiddled around with key bindings, the game is pretty much unplayable.

Any suggestions?

Interestingly I have the same problem, but persistence will eventually allow the key to remap. What I *don't* understand is that when I installed Hidden and Dangerous 2 on this very machine a couple of years ago I didn't have a problem remapping keys, and even though I've since reformatted the only difference I can think of is possibly some newer windohs [sic] updates.

Other than that the hardware is the same as is the OS:

i5 3570k
16 gb
HD7900
windows 7 home premium 64bit.

Anyway Castiglione old bean, if you persist, hold down the key you're trying to bind or tap it until it 'takes' you will eventually get it sorted. Can be slightly infuriating with H&D'2's number of commands etc but once they're remapped and saved they work perfectly fine in game.

Weird problem though, and woulld be interested to hear if it's happening to others besides us.

fyi. I have the boxed version installed and remapped my keys before applying the 1.12 patch, because i want'ed to complete the training before applying it.
