Homm V.

I am within the scenario, "The Fall of the King". At this point, I have installed the Tears. Remaining tasks are Hold Dunmoor and Isabel and Godric must survive.

At some point, I am going to be asked to escort Godric...somewhere.

I have been playing as conservatively as I can. It appears as if the game has been deliberately designed to PUNISH me for using my brain and being careful.

After what feels like thousands of hours of play invested in this one chapter, it appears as if the game has intentionally made it literally impossible for me to finish the chapter.

It appears as if it is necessary to move Godric through a gateway, towards a large enemy tower, far to the south east. However, this is literally impossible. No matter how large an army I assemble, the enemy troops are in the HUGE THOUSANDS, and the message is always: Danger, no chance.

This sux donkey balls time ten trillion. Hours and hours and hours and hours and hours of tedium and work and care and building and recruiting......and the game says "Nyahh! Nyahh! Not fast enough!"

Please, tell me where the game designers live. They deserve an agony in hell.

You aren't supposed to go through that garrison- the insane troop numbers there are to make it impossible for you to take the town and wipe out the red player. The place you need to take Godric to is through another garrison to the south of the garrison with the insane troop numbers, basically to the very corner of the map. Once Godric reaches the correct location he will disappear and the quest completion will trigger.
