Dear all,
I have issues installing the original Price of Loyalty 2.1 patch which is not included. Some files were updated successfully but some failed :
ENTRY: EDITOR2.EXE
warning wpt0036: Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was
found. No update done since file contents do not match.
ENTRY: HEROES2.EXE

found. No update done since file contents do not match.
ENTRY: INSTALL.EXE

ENTRY: sound\MSSW95.EXE

Is there a way to make it work ? I think it is because the Succession War 1.3 has been applied.

Does this mean that heroes 2 gog version will have a working expansion pack map editor now with randomly generated terrain?

Correct, just tested.
Is anyone else experiencing slowdowns with the new version?
It's normal on the world map but in battles everything slows to a crawl.

I am experiencing it as well.
However manually setting the combat speed in each combat seems to work for me, which is kinda stupid workaround.

Err... do I need to uninstall the game before launching the new installer? The install of the game has been surprisingly quick so I am wondering if the game has been properly updated.
By the way, what is the content/new features of this patch?

You do have to uninstall the game; the install was so quick because the installer checked if the needed files were in place (but not their version). They were, so nothing was overwritten.
