Hi there!

Started going through the games from the first one onward, and am having a nostalgic blast here, really love these games (well... 1-4 are the only ones I played, but from the looks of things, the games never really changed much on the base level, so guessing I'm going to enjoy the rest as well just fine)...

It's been some time since the last time I really had a go at these games, so haven't really kept up with modding efforts etc for any of the games... Is there any modding scene for any of the HOMM games? Anyone has any modding recommendations if so?

Would love to see the games extended beyond what were my wildest fantasies back in the day =D

Start with the HD mod to make the base game (3) more enjoyable.

For a more radical mod try Horn of the Abyss. Haven't tried it myself, but have heard good things about it.

So only modding scene to talk about it for HOMM 3? would've hoped there'd be some for the other games as well, but 3 is rather good, so probably there I'm going to spend most of my time anyways :P
