The Heroes of Might and Magic series is one of my favorite series of games ever made. Is there any chance of getting Mac versions of these games?
1 and 2 will work in dosbox/boxer

3 works fine in wineskin
just remember set ddr=gdi in winetricks to stop flickering if you encounter it

4,5,6 i have no idea as i haven't tried.
Both HOMM4 and HOMM5 will work in Wineskin, though they can be finicky about needing a specific version of Wine. Check http://appdb.winehq.org for the version(s) of Wine that have worked for others.

Out of curiosity have you tried the latest 1.7.x wines? It has been my experience that only a few games really need to go to older versions of wine (Pc version of halo for instance), and that most will work fine with the latest.

I tried 1.7.3 and 1.7.2 with HOMM4 the other day (as I just started playing HOMM4 again). They didn't work for me the first time, though it's possible I just needed to tweak some of the Wine graphics settings. By contrast, 1.3.7 worked for me immediately.

That's not to say that Wine 1.7.x is bad in any way. It's just that games can be a bit finicky sometimes.
Does anyone know if GOG has plans to do Mac versions? I suck at using wineskin and would rather just wait for GOG mac releases.
