I am on the fence about this week's sale on HOMM V, so I've been reading what I can about the game.

From multiple discussions, I've learned that the expansions improve on the original skill trees in a great many ways. But one post I read complained that those skill tree improvements are not available when playing the campaigns in the original game.

Can anyone verify that? Is there a MOD out there to allow me to play the campaign using all the refinements and improvements of the expansions?
