Does this version of the game have the freezing resolved that occurs on custom map created maps, specificly the larger ones?
Already have the game as discs, so if it isnt resolved dont see a point of getting it again.

If you patched your disc versions to 1.6 (HoMM5), 2.1 (HoF) and 3.1 (TotE) and faced that problem, the GOG version won't be any different as it only removes the DRM, without any additional changes to the fully patched versions.
