Used to have HOMM V but due to the bug that caused the graphics to go blurry when entering towns, battles etc. I finally gave up and threw the game out. Has this been fixed in GOG's release? Want to know before I buy. Thanks.

Edit* couldn't resist, rebought it and I must express my deepest dissatisfaction with that GOG are essentially charging 20 dollars for a broken game. As I can see alot of people are experiencing the graphical bug and I urge GOG to pull HOMMV from their site and refund us Gog'ers

What level of graphic details do you run? If it is very high or high, try reducing to normal. This solved the problem in my non-GOG-version. It is sad that you can't use the absolute top-graphic that way, but at least that annoying go-blurry-thing ended for me.

I have a retail version of HoMM V, not the GOG version. From my research this problem primarily affects nVidia cards from the 9000 line down.

It's really lame that GOG didn't either resolve the issue themselves or get Ubisoft to resolve it before selling the game here. Part of what makes GOG games so great is that they're just supposed to work.
