If I understand the OP correctly, he wasn't asking for a gameplay update from the developers, but one from GOG for the dosbox frame in which those games ship here.
No guys I am asking about GOG updates :D You know v2 installers around here for many games :)
HOMM1's had a recent update. The Windows 95 version of HOMM2 would be nice though.
You won't get a Win95 version of Heroes2 because:
1. It would have to be cracked in order to work without CD
2. Would have midi music instead of Opera unless, again, the exe is modified and somewhat linked to use music files instead of CDAudio.
3. I used to play Win95 version on Win7 starter (32bit) and it was fine, yet I found the game laggy on Win7 64bit, which made me switch to DosBox version.
4. Dos version can be easily made into self-sufficient package. You won't achieve this Win95 version.

I would prefer playing natively under Windows, but DOS version is much more reliable atm. I just wait for fheroes2 becoming fully playable.
What about Heroes & M&M Complete Collection I hava also boxed copies of this . And I think it's not cracked .

In Windows XP the Windows version works fine, much better than the laggy DosBox version. But I guess there are not that many left of us.
