In the mission Season of Harvest there is a border guard that wants an artifact (pendant of the undead) to pass. The artifact cannot be found anywhere on the map, nor can it be found in the previous scenario.

What's going on here? I notice it can be chosen as a starting bonus for the other possible scenario (you can choose between Season of Harvest and another level), so did 3DO just switch the artifacts needed by mistake?

That bug was in normal game too - you are supposed to play missions in specific order to get the bonus (well you gonna need artifact from that 'another mission' in the 'Season' of Harvest if im remembering correctly). You will have to reload game from save before starting mission and choose another - but thats not neccessary, i think that bonus in last mission wasnt really worth it - you will get access to area with 1 Dragon Tomb(7lvl creature)+ some gold, and thats in the middle of enemy territory so its hard to keep it.

PS Its not a bug - its a feature :p

I don't remember this map, but according to this walkthrough:
"Some Border Guards can only be passed if a Hero carries a Quest Artifact from a previous scenario,..."

Ahh, I thought that I could only play one of the two scenarios, but if I understand correctly, you have to play both of them, but in the right order.
That;s a bit silly!.

And yeah, I am using the original disks, I just posted here as I thought there might be some knowledgeable folks. Thanks!
