I've just installed HoMM 2 and my cursor acts really strangely whilst playing the game. It sort of judders around the screen, only sometimes moving when I move the mouse. For example, if the cursor is at the top of the screen and I move my mouse steadily down the mouse mat then the cursor will move down a bit, then stop, then move a bit again, then stop again etc, even though my mouse never stopped moving. The game is unplayable in this state. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this? I don't have this problem when playing HoMM 3.

It is a known problem of Windows game release. Try playing DOSbox version instead
