I get a message saying that HoMM3 has quit working and windows is searching for a solution as soon as i launch the game.. Help Please?

In the Control Panel (not Settings), go to Programs and Features -> Turn Windows Features On and Off. Open the Legacy Components section and tick DirectPlay.

Then download and install the HD mod.

I actually just installed the HD mod and it worked just fine.
