Ok, so I purchased this (HOMM3 Complete), downloaded and installed with no apparent difficulties.

When I boot the game it says that I'm missing the 'Shadow of Death' CD and will not have access to single-player games. WTF?

I can only play multi-player...ick.

Please advise.

(running Win 7 Pro-64)

Nevermind....I read through these posts and found my solution.

Turns out I had the standard (CD) version already installed on this PC at one time. Had to go back and delete the old registry entries. It works fine now.
