I want heroes like Gelu or Mutare Drake to be selectable as starting heroes on randomly generated maps. How to do that?

I know there is a way to add them on a map through map editor tool. Though it's not what I need. When you see map it instantly loses the element of surprise that makes random maps fun.

Unless the 'Horn of the Abyss' guys end up doing this I doubt it will ever happen. The source code for Heroes III Complete has been available for years now but the HotA guys are the only ones to really do anything with such yet.

If you are using HD mod (well, you should :) ), you can add StartingHeroes plugin.

No, just usual old Heroes 3 Complete. Can you tell which one of the mods supports such plugin?
