I am playing the Shadow of Death Campaign in HOMM3. In the Specter of Power subcampaign, and the level Kreegan Alliance, you have 3 accompanying heroes that are clearly supposed to carry over to the next level. However, when the next level starts the 3 acompanying heroes are gone.

I believe the same happened in some of the other campaigns in different forms, but I played through it anyway. This time it bugged me enough to write a post about it. Does anyone know a fix for this bug?

Have you tried playing with the Heroes3HD mod? Its supposed to fix a log of bugs in the game as well as add support for higher resolutions and such.

Thats well known error. You cant carry over heroes in missions from 'Restoration of Erathia' (first set of campagins) in 'Shadow of death' i dont know about version here on GoG, but i always played those campaings from 'vanilla' (you will recognize it by archangel on title screen) - normal game (but there is no changing difficulty there for maps).

PS I know, that i found 'somewhere' files with repaired campaigns, but i dont remember now where it was...
