I've been a big fan of the HoMM games and when i discovered GoG HoMM3 was the first thing i bought, however i quickly discovered that when i am in battles, against either neutral monsters or other heroes, it fails to show me the area of movement for my units. Usually, there would be a dark hexagonal pattern that shows where your current creature can move to, however that never appears so i just have to move my mouse around to try and gauge where the pattern ends (since the icon still comes up for where i can move). I've tried re-installing but it didnt seem to change anything so i was hoping someone knows how to fix this.

Thanks

Go to the options screen after you enter a battle and toggle the "Movement Shadow" and "Hex Cursor" options. HoMM3 has those off by default. This was true for the original release as well, you probably just forgot from when you played it way back when.
