First off, really happy to be able to grab this game from gog =) I think this game came out when i was maybe in 10th grade and me and a few of my friends pooled some money together and bought a copy and burned it for a few of us =P I freakin love the music.

I fired this thing up and started a campaign. I picked the top campaign, but it actually happens to be like the SoD campaign I believe....

So anyway this After the Amulet map is ridic....

How the heck am I supposed to beat the 'ambush' 40 bone dragons and 20 ghost dragons? I took out the the enemy army so I dont even need to do anything but get passed these damned dragons. I mean i have control over like every single thing on the map. Do i really just have to play for like 8 more weeks just building units? My main hero is really good but I mean, 3 stacks of 20 lvl 7 units........

Sigh.

Yea, if there's no time limit, in homm3 you usualy will spend last month in each map trying to get all (+1 power ups), and level up heroes to the max. As long as you are not playing to get best score its not that hard to wait month for more troops to beat that last stack of monsters.
-If you are out of monster stacks, and still doesnt have max lvl - try to sacrifice less usefull items on the altar (i think there was one on every map) for exp
- get earth magic and wisdom(for learning lvl 4 spells) for all heroes (except barbarians): mass slow, meteor shower and city portal are making this school the best specialization magic.

hey thanks a lot buddy... omg i just looked at that link. I have to beat 80 more ghost dragons after that fight? jeez lol. Yeah thanks for the tip about the earth magic, I wasn't leveling my heroes in a min/max fashion though I dont even think I can pick that up =(
