Hello.
I've encountered problem with Homm2 opera music on POL version.
Can someone recommend POL patch taat could resolve this problem:
since original game cd is long gone, worn out and not working anyway, I used ISO image to be able to play this game. Recently I discovered that I can create mixed mode audio/data iamge and get cd-opera music to work again. With "Succesion Wars" it works as it should, but with "Price of Loyalty" music is stopped and restarted after every event (for example ending my turn and going to next day, switching between heroes on different soil terrains, accessing Observation Tower, Obelisk, etc.)

How do I know it is games exe's fault? Because I started "Succesion Wars" exe with mounted POL iamge and it started to work as it should (it palyed POL version castle themes and didn't stop "world" themes after events) therefore it' can't be wronlgy created image, so I'm looking for patched/fixed/reissued exe. I can't try all aviable exe's on internet, so I hope that somebody could help me here...

P.S
Dear GOG team, if you read this, you could consider to offer this game for windows using this method
(mixed mode images), because it runs much better compared to DOS version, that you offer now. Windows version doesn't need any tweeking, only compability. On contray DOSbox offers to many variables and tweeking.
DOS version is a bit lagy. It's been already adressed in other topics within this forum.
I'd definitely support this idea and I think taht others would to!

I can't help you with your question I'm afraid. However, the windows version is available on GOG. If you have purchased the game here on GOG then you can download the windows version under extras.

Personally I always prefer dos versions when available because I can run them flawlessly on Linux through dosbox. So I am personally very glad that they keep both the dos version and the windows version available.
