I bought HOMM2 and would like to install it on a Raspberry Pi. Are there instructions for how to do this?

By using any DOS emulator: depand on installed embedded OS and exact Pi model. There is a chance that no any DOS emulators for installed OS.

I have Free Heroes 2 on my Android phone and Chromebook and it plays great on both. I bought the game here on GOG hoping to put it on a Pi too. I'll have to look at github since you posted the link. I have DOSBOX on the Pi now.

Heroes is my favorite game from way-back. I perfer playing as wizard.
