Hello,
I'm trying to play HoMM2 Gold GoG edition multiplayer on windows 8 computers. I'm tried the GameRanger trick however it does not seem to recognize HoMM2 Gold only HoMM2 which I do not own. When I go in select Launch Multiplayer under the tab then try doing a direct connect it always just says waiting for the other client when he tries to log in. Does anyone know what we're doing wrong? I'm completely ignorant at this. We borrowed an Ethernet cable to link the two computers. The netbios network game option just causes it to crash. Anyone have a solution for any of these?
