So I saw the bundle was on sale for $5 so I picked it up for nostalgic purposes as I played the base game when it first came out. I notice that it has split it into two paths. There is the base game and one DLC but the second DLC appears to have its own download. Can anyone tell me what the Tribes from the East DLC adds? Is it best to download both or are they seperate games?

The first expansion (Hammers of Fate) is included in the main game, this is because originally the expansion needed to be installed in the base game. To launch Hammers of Fate you can search its executable, (Heroes of Might and Magic V\bina1 H5_Game.exe), or if you use GOG galaxy selecting Heroes V--> More--> Others.
The second expansion (Tribes of the East) is stand alone and can be played for itself.

You can play different campaings launching the base game or each expansion, so if you want to play skirmish your best bet is Tribes of the East. This expansion has all the races and the last gameplay upgrades. Tribes also adds another upgrade option for every unit, so when upgrading e.g. human archers you can choose two different paths now.

Thanks. Just to clarify you can only use that upgrade option in Tribes it doesn't add it to any of the campaigns of the first game or its DLC?
