When I try to run the game, an error comes up that says:
"Files from Heroes III are missing. Please reinstall Heroes III."
I've installed the game to drive E: (my C: drive is a small SSD that I don't like putting games on)... could that be an issue?
Edit: Well, I just installed to my C: drive and it works... :( wish it worked on my E: drive.

Edit: Well, I just installed to my C: drive and it works... :( wish it worked on my E: drive.

I just installed it on different than C: drive (also on E: actually) with no problems - works like charm.
What OS do you have? If it's Vista, maybe you need to run the installer with admin privileges or with UAC turned off (just a wild guess).
