I suppose this sacramental question had been asked many times before but nevertheless...
What kind of "clever" head among the GOG staff had had an idea to split Heroes Chronicles into EIGHT pieces of 0,5Gb each - while Chronicles themselves are sold as one pack, and each chronicle is just a small .cmp file (or Hell remembers how HoMM3 campaign files are called) using the same shell, interface, sound and graphics resources and stuff?
Why should I download all the same crap EIGHT times? And IIRC Chronicles distributive was as it should be, i.e. being the single install file, some times ago. What was the purpose of such an IDIOTIC decision? If one would want to play the specific campaign, one just could run it from the start screen where all the eight campaigns would be present.
