The file is named --- h3maped.exe ---

On my computer it's located in

C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete

which is think is the default installation directory.

Hello. I have a question please.

I am trying to do a training map, but i cannot set this: it always shows the message that i only have 7 days to conquer a town and the next screen says Congratulations etc. etc... I tried by map specifications there by special victory conditions and loss conditions, and i cannot set the player to already have a town. Kinda silly. Please help

In the attachment i just went into a Crypt and won, and suddenly came the message from above and the Congratulation..

Thanks

1. You have to own a town to play a scenario. As you already know, if you don't have one at start or loose the last one while you play, you have to (re)conquer one within seven days; if not - you lose. If you place a town in the editor, it will be "independent" by default. To change this, select the town on map and press [Enter] or click the right mouse button and choose "Properties...". Then you can make a choice of town ownership - pick your hero's colour from the list. You can also place an independent town on map and let your hero to conquer it (remember about the 7 days limit).

2. You have to set a specific victory condition if there are no other players in the scenario. For example: place any type of creature dwelling and choose "Flag all creature dwellings". The scenario will end only if you capture this dwelling (if there aren't any more).

Thank You. I will do that. I thought i can just put some Crypts one next to another and try to beat them with the same army, i did not think i must also put a Town in there... Thank you
I still can't find the map editor even after I seached for h3maped.exe and h3cmped.exe, I have the GOG.com version of the game and looked in the HOMM3 complette file but it's not there.
If using GOG Galaxy client + game build - verify game files. Twice.
If using offline installer - reinstall, starting installer by RMB -> start as admin.

In both case game location should be X:\Games\*game-name*\ (eg \Heroes-3\).

Check every .exe files in game folder.

In the Galaxy client, if you click the 'options' icon near 'Play', what do you see under the 'additionale executable' menu?

It should be similar to the attached image

Could someone help me understand a problem?
So, when I open verify options I only have ''WoGify setting, game enhancements, and hard-coded options'' I don't have the
other choices like '' map rules'' I really want it but it doesn't show, and all of the other ones like '' objects and artifacts'', ''custom setting'' and all the others. So is this a problem that anyone knows the solution to?
