I bought this game about 6 months ago, and it has been running fine until today, when I tried to tab out of the game, it doesnt let me open again, it keeps exiting out as soon as i tab back to the game

Which game? This forum serves several, and you never said which one you are trying to play.

Also, for technical problems, you should try contacting GOG Support.
