Since these are very easy you miss a lot of the storyline unless you skip 35464748748 turns to wait for the lines to come by ;)
How can I access the lines that comeup during play so I can read what I've missed?

I don't know how to get all of it, but people did a very good job on making digests at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heroes_Chronicles . it satisfied all my questions about the story.
