I have a problem with HOMM1 installer, it creates invalid shortcuts, that do not do anything.
When I press Launch in the end of installation game starts and works fine, but shortcuts are broken.
Halp.

(Win7x64ProEngSP1, fully patched.)

Write to support, it's probably their bug. Meanwhile, you can run the game by:
1) installing DOSBox manually
2) creating a shortcut to DOSBox
3) editing created shortcut to sth like that:
"...\dosbox.exe -conf c:\path\to\your\homm1\installation\directory\dosboxHOMM1.conf"
