I have downloaded HOMM 3 complete via GOG to my new HP pavilion. There is a strange sound while I press the purple Play button and nothing is happening. Please help me launching this game. Thanks

My problem is that the opening animation runs, but I can't end or skip, nor get to the menu. Where can I find the HD-Mod, and how do I run it (you may be able to tell that I don't know anything about using mods). Thanks!

That's a known issue. HD Mod fixes it too.
