i bought and downloaded the game here from GOG. Right now it is in my desktop with 2 icons

and
setup_homm3_exe_ complete.part
whenever i click on the setup it gives me this error
C;/docume~1/admini~/desktop/setup_~exe
the NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction
CS: blah blah numbers Choose close to terminate the application
please help me with this dilemma, homm3 is one of my favorite games back when i was in middleschool. thanks.

Did you download it with Firefox perhaps? Firefox creates a .part-file when it's downloading a file, so if you still have that file it means that the download hasn't completed yet. Try downloading it again.

bummer. you got it spot on. i did download it with firefox. i might as well just download it again with GOG's downloader. I will update again once it's done. thanks.
