I found my old cd-box of heroes of annihilated empires, and I wanted to give a try. My question is: are the steam/GOG versions new/patched versions (mine is version 1.1)? How is the multiplayer?

Also, it woks fine in my PC except the videos (In options, I selected 16-bit instead of 24-bits color, and now I can see the videos)
