Can anyone tell me what this means? Do I want this box checked or not? :P

As far as I can understand, having the box checked enables low particles, which means less dust floating in the air, and all those nice things that give the environment a bit more polish and make it all feel a bit more dynamic and alive. The game is not particularly new, so unless your computer is *very* old (I'm talking pre-2000, here), I think it's safe to say you can leave the box unchecked and enjoy more of those sweet particles. :P

Wait, if it "enables" them wouldn't I want the box checked?

Enabling low particles disables high particles. Low is less, high is more. :D
