smrtgi19: Heretic 2 and HeXen II: Portal of Praevus is owned by Activision Blizzard. Though Hexen and Heretic previously id software has publishing rights to those titles except heretic 2 and HeXen II: Portal of Praevus
They are unfortunately in copyright Hell. Like so many great games we can no longer get, either they don't know who owns the rights or there are multiple claims but the various publishers don't want to waste money on courts to determine ownership.
Did Raven make both of these games?

Also, isn't Raven still w/ Acti-Blizz?

Which is why I suspect there are other legal issues with Heretic 2 and the Hexen 2 expansion.
ANyway, I think Herectic, Hexen and it's expansion, and Hexan 2 for Three bucks on psecial is still one hell of a good deal.

smrtgi19: i heard Heretic 2 was a flop, but damn Portal of Praevus not available
I very recently played Heretic 2. It is a different kind of game - linear third-person shooter with only one player character, that being Corvus, following on from the first game. I had fun with it.
Games until Hexen 2 were published by id Soft. Praevus and Heretic II were Activision. No other reason than that.

Ugh @ Acti-Blizz getting in the way, as usual.
