I can't get my Bluetooth controller working on this game, in controls there is no option for it and if I try assign buttons to actions it doesn't register them. The controller definitely is working.

Update: I've a sort of workaround if I launch it through Steam and assign some keybindings but it's not perfect.

I didn't actually, managed it by launching it through Steam in the end. Thanks for the link though, I might try that next.

For the lulz, I tested it on my PS4 controller (I was using DS4Windows for Hellblade).
You have to download the 64 bit version, link on top of the page at the right, and uncompress it in:

(path of the game)\HellbladeGame\Binaries\Win64

There, you must execute x360ce_x64.exe, let it create xinput1_3.dll, and set the axis/buttons for your controller.
The "ping" sound at the start of the game signals that it works. No need to have Steam running anymore :)
