So I've finally gotten a few days off of work and I rush back home to start playing this game only to find out that I'm getting no audio through my speakers.. As in at all! I have a Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 using Razer Synapse updated and there seems to be no sound when launching the game using the headphones.. They work with every other thing I do on my pc which includes games, music, movies etc. I heard the game is only worth playing with headphones so not being able to do that is super disappointing.. By the way when I use my monitor's speakers sound works fine...

It definitely sounds like some configuration issue, to me. I would make sure that the headphones are enabled as the default audio device when you launch the game. Some programs won't recognize the Kraken set if they're not set to default (I have a set too, so I know how it goes)

Also I use Via HD audio - you might have Realtek, which is the same chip. I don't use Razer Synapse because it has issues with certain programs. Of course, that doesn't fix your issue, and it isn't very helpful, but the only Razer product I own is the Kraken, so that's why I don't use Synapse.

I'm also having audio problems but of another nature. Btw HRTF or binaural sound only work well with stereo headphones, any stereo heaphones even those cheap earplug ones, USB headphones are also known to cause problems in HRTF sound, they don't explicitaly say that on the game but is basic knowlege for good HRTF (this trick simulates our ears and they are two, so stereo only). I don't know, if you can change your razer 7.1 headphones to 2.1, if you can try that, look on the net how to do it, also if you have it, disable any razer software that changes audio, like the razer software that takes 5.1 or 7.1 channels and simulates "HRTF" sound (3D sound) in games, could conflit with the game true HRTF. Hope this helps you.

I don't think that it should behave like this. Have you checked your game settings?
