Casual gaming impossible even on easy. Perhaps 2 years ago I tried and never finished. It was a job to play given controls I have played in any PC game. Consoles its the standard to have crap controls but this exceeds even them. Fast forward 1-2 years I download it again. Now, on easy, I cant even get past the first fight. New computer that runs things like FO4 and Skyrim like its sitting on a beach sipping margaritas. "Dodge" doesnt work (space), block doesnt work (crtl), nothing. The animation happens but Im still hit every time even if Im hitting space before the mob is even near me let alone swinging. It ludicrous. One hit and Im surrounded by virtually pitch black and can do nothing but lay there and die. The game mechanics in this are the worst I have seen in 22+ years of gaming. I think it would have made a very good movie but gaming, total suckage.

Gone are the days when the user dictates what their character does vs what the author wants you to do.

Just stuck with a game that outside of being cracked open cant be finished? Id love to read the last page of the book I PAID for.

No and I probably should not post when utterly frustrated with a game but even when not frustrated the game is as described. Its a joke to play. At least for me. When controls dont work or are crap and you have to rewatch a cut scene 15 times you pretty much, to retain your sanity, simply cant play anymore. Would be nice to have a sort of god mode so I could at least get to enjoy the game composition. Basically I own a book that the authors wont allow me to read the rest of it until I finish reading this particular page. Its a complete shame.

The problems you describe are not normal, and I haven't heard of anyone else encountering them. You should open a support ticket with GOG. If they can't help you get it running, they should give you a refund if it's been less than 30 days since you bought the game. You can also try to get support directly from Ninja Theory, but open a support ticket with GOG first.
