I've been playing for fewer than seven hours and my save game is already over the 200MB cloud save limit. Is there any way of compressing it down?

EDIT: It looks like log files are being synced as well as the actual save file as deleting the massive 200MB combat log file didn't seem to affect the game.

Yes, it is completely safe to delete the log files - everything but the save slot file itself.
