I seem to be trapped on the ancient aquifer moon. I blocked the hopper eye to create a river to Heaven's Vault, uncovered and reblocked it. Six comments on the formation of the river, but he won't prompt us to leave again. He just waits by the water. I waited probably 20-30 minutes or so before I gave up. Is there something I can do, or am I just bugged?
Edit: Solved, I got the option to leave when I walked toward the exit path again. I had done that before, I walked all the way to where you first get off the ship. Not sure what was different this time.

I am properly soft-locked there.
I left, gave all my items away for maximum language clues, returned and now I can cover the hopper with my hand, but that doesn't keep the water in place...

Posting it here, since the topic I would have created would have been identical.

EDIT: I got a response today. GOG has "a pretty old version", and they kindly sent my a save that was past the bugged area.
I asked them to update GOG...

EDIT 2: I spent months trying to get GOG support to reach out and obtain the build the devs used to "fix" the safe that was busted on GOG, but there was zero support.
I'm not buying from GOG again due to these issues.
