Anyone experienced it? At some point an event triggers (too fast to see what it was) and then immediately to "you have quit" screen...
I played 1914 yunnan clique scenario and it happened sometime after March 1915

Edit: it's the "yunnan domination" event. If you sided with Cai E you will forcibly quit/surrender after this event.
