Since the new version of Harvester was posted, I can't get the game to run. I actually beat the entire game once already with the original version from GOG. But now I don't know what the problem is.

I start the game up and the intro cutscenes run, then it goes to Steve's room and, for some reason, prompts me for a password. Any input at this point crashes the game, and it does this every time. I don't know what's up.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but to no avail. Anybody else having this problem or know what's up?
You are not the only one who is suffering with this problem.

Unfortunately I don't know how to fix it.

Please write to Support about this as this should NOT be happening. Thanks :)
Okay, so after a bit fiddling I think I figured out what my problem was. I had uninstalled my game with some third party software and assumed that it had deleted all of the files, but when I checked, it seemed as though some files remained. I guess the new version was getting installed over the old version (or something).

Anyway, after deleting all the files from my computer and performing a fresh install I managed to get the game working again! :) Thanks for responding and I apologize for any confusion on my part~
GOG titles already have fully functional uninstallers. Perhaps you used your third party uninstallers out of habit? Only use them for less trustworthy stuff like browser plugins and gimmicky ad-driven programs you probably never wanted in the first place as they will beg and cheat you not to uninstall them..
