Hi guys,

Was randomly looking to buy the original game tonight and gog.com popped up was never aware of any of this!!
Just downloaded the game for mac and have been going through it but can not save. I go to the save screen enter a name for the save click save and it just freezes noting? Once I tap on the keys a bit it goes of the screen and back in to the game so i can continue but with no save.
Any ideas please?

Hi Cskrew, welcome to GOG, and sorry to hear that you're having troubles with your first purchase. I'm not aware of anyone having posted about this particular issue before. If you haven't already done so, you may want to submit a ticket to GOG support and they'll try to help you out, though note that with the holidays it may take them a little longer than usual to get back to you: http://www.gog.com/support/harvester

Also, just so you're aware, GOG has a 30-day money-back guarantee if you have serious technical problems, so if support can't fix your problem you should be able to get a refund (though hopefully it won't come to that).

This is now sorted can only save from slot 12 onwards well happy. Thanks for the help

I am also having this same issue, tried saving from "slot 12 onwards," didn't work.

Glad to hear you got it sorted, Cskrew. Did you have to do anything else to make the save slots start working? If so, would you mind posting the solution here, for others who might encounter the same problem?

I just had the same issue of not being able to save, even after 12.

Then I tried running it as administrator and it saved fine.
