First of all:

I already had the game installed from GOG before.
Never got around to play it but yesterday I finally wanted to give it a try.

Unfortunately there was no sound.

Then I read in these forums that there are new installation files available.

So I uninstalled the game and downloaded the 2 backup game installation files:

setup_harvester_1.0_(28235).exe (782 KB)
setup_harvester_1.0_(28235)-1.bin (1,13 GB)

After choosing an instlalation path and accepting EULA I wanted to continue with the installation process.
But it didn`t start.

There`s only the screen with the Harvester background picture but no installation progress bar.

I even waited for several minutes but ultimately I had to exit the installation manually.

Is there something wrong with the installation files ?

Late response but I just tested with the two latest files you mentioned and I was able to install it without an issue.

I would recommend maybe uninstalling the existing copy of your game, and running the setup as administrator (if you weren't already).
