I guess to get into golem mode you need to give all 5 cards mentioned on the recipe to a toon.
My problem is that most cards vanish as I switch from group Libertee to group Doctor, and some cards are always either here or there.
Is this intentional?
And, lastly, I think I could not regroup/recard when the teams came together :-(

This really does decrease replay ability IMO
