It's been a few weeks since the Steam version was updated in April with a new class and features but still no word on updating the gog version. I'm aware there were a few difficulties in getting the update to work for non-Steam versions but all has gone quiet over the past few weeks. Is it still being worked on or has it been abandoned?

This is far from being official -- in fact, it's very much speculative, sorry! --, but I think the Hammerwatch team has shown GOG some love in the past, so it's kind of safe to say the new version will get here shortly.

Well, as shortly as it gets, at least, since unfortunately most games are built for Steam, these days, and patching non-Steam versions takes a bit longer.

Well, that's comforting to know. I just hope it doesn't take as long as the Postal 1+2 updates took. Hammerwatch is a surprisingly fun game and I'm looking forward to trying out the thief.

Thanks a lot! The update isn't listed in the account page yet but I've downloaded the installer and the game seems to be running great.
